COLD LASER THERAPY

Cold laser therapy can be used as a stand-alone treatment modality, but is best used in combination manual remobilization therapy. Cold laser is a noninvasive procedure that uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to stimulate cell regeneration and increase blood circulation. Increased circulation brings oxygen and nutrients to healing tissue, while allowing inflammation and swelling to drain. Laser techniques can treat acute and chronic injuries, sprains and strains, arthritis, swelling due to vertebral disc injuries or musculoskeletal abnormalities. It also helps to re-generate muscle and nerve tissue after surgery, allowing a more rapid return to normal activity.
