Susanne Russell, CVT, CCMT

Owner, Manual Therapist

Susanne has over 20 yers of experience in the field of veterinary medicine.  She attended the Canine Rehab Institute and received her certification in Canine Massage at Bancroft School of Massage.  Susanne has dedicated many years to working in orthopedic surgery, neurology, and the study of canine rehabilitation techniques.  She has over 7 years experience in canine rehabilitation and is proud and excited to offer the best care to all of her patients at her facilities in Northborough and West Brookfield, MA.

Patrick Neusch

Rehabilitation Assistant

Patrick first started here 5 years ago for his high school senior project, and continued working here through the summer before college. He attended the University of Maine where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Animal Veterinary Science. He had a handful of classes working hands-on with horses, as well as partaking in a dairy milking class. He spent a year and a half working at a dog kennel near school, before he moved back home and rejoined the staff. Patrick’s main role here is overseeing the fitness of dogs and most pool sessions, as well as unofficially running for the patients' favorite guy.

Beth Lewis

Manual Therapist

Beth started her career in human medicine. She graduated from the University of Vermont in 2019 and worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer for three years before transitioning to working with dogs. She is now one of our manual therapists. Beth has a 2-year-old pit mix named Stella and enjoys going for hikes with her in her free time.

Michelle Hamlett

Groomer

Michelle has been a professional dog groomer for 17 years. She loves grooming all breeds and works with sick and elderly pets, as well as puppies. She works one-on-one with her clients to gain trust and love.

Liz Joyce

Rehabilitation Assistant

Liz has always been very passionate about animals, especially dogs. She has heavily enjoyed being involved in the rescue world and volunteering and working for a wide range of rescues. She previously operated and owned her own pet care business servicing the Worcester area after graduating with her business degree. She built her experience in animal handling and joined us at NCRFC where she oversees our patient’s fitness routines and front of the house duties. Liz is focusing on Canine strength & conditioning and will be furthering her education and knowledge going into the future.
